Presentation of the Marinko Sudac collection as part of Art Market program

The Zagreb-based Marinko Sudac Collection is focused on collecting radical Avant-Garde and Neo-Avant-Garde art and connected art practices from the Central and Eastern European region, primarily from the period of the early 20th century until the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Curated specifically for Art Market Budapest’s GUEST BALKAN program, the selection presents artistic movements defined as the "Other line" of the Yugoslav art existing in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia before and after 1968. These movements embodied the artistic wing of opposition against dominant social and aesthetic norms.
